I took a direct flight home from visiting texasgrandma and most of the rest of my family. Everything went fine until baggage claim.

They switched 2 flights to my flight's carousel without explanation, and then actually exchanged my flight and another so two flights of people had to walk to the other carousel.

And my bag came off the chute with one of its wheels missing. I went directly to the baggage office to see about making a damage claim, but apparently the procedure is just to give you an item of luggage about the same size and style as yours and have you move your things into the new bag immediately.

So instead of having a 4-caster semi-hard case of grey and burgundy, I have a slightly larger, 4-caster case with all-cloth sides in red. I'm going to have to get an obnoxious luggage tag or something, because the only way this thing could be more anonymous is if it were black.

But I'm home safe and planning to go to bed soon, as I have to go to work in the morning... when the temperature should be somewhere in the teens D:
