Mekong River Textiles in Silver Spring is having their open house sale starting Friday -- they have fabric, patterns, scarves, jewelry, and finished garments.

zvi and it was a lot of fun. I think I might want to catch both programs this year. Anyone interested in going Friday or Sunday?

This is probably the weekend I can go see The Picture of Dorian Grey unless I want to catch it on Nov 2 or 3.
The Postman Always Rings Twice at 11 am on the 20th, as part of the DC Noir fest.

Craft2Wear at the Building Museum. So many gorgeous things to wear! If I haven't found a new winter coat by then, I'm going to see what is for sale or for custom order. I will need a fashion second opinion, and probably someone to hold my wallet...

Ghostbusters and The Satanic Rites of Dracula AKA Count Draucla and His Vampire Brides which a Hammer film featuring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Joanna Lumley...

I'm taking the day off, and plan to eat at Oyamel for their Day of the Dead menu. Who wants to join me?
In there somewhere I want to make and can some roasted tomatillo salsa and maybe some pickles
